I was wondering if there will be a 64-bit version of pellesC ?

Probably - but as long as 32-bit Windows is the most used version, I will not make a 64-bit version. Maintaining two versions at the same time will be too much...

Yes I think that the 32-bit windows will still be with us for a while.

As will 32bit compatibility in the 64bit version.

If the stuff I've been hearing is true, the 64bit systems might even run 32bit code faster than our present setups...

Yes, I run Windows x64 and my 32-bit programs run very well on it. I haven't tested their speed yet, but I think they might run faster on x64.
