Hi all
Many moons ago when i was programming in psion basic
I could send printing commands to a cannon poprtable printer using LPRINT and escape sequences etc
I would now2 like to print direct from a PDA
The available drivers are not up to much and i would like to know if anyone could advise me on how to go about writing my own code to Talk to a printer

What operating system is the PDA running?
It is likely there are operating system calls you can use to render text to a printer...
It is also very likely someone has written a downloadable library to make it easier.
I'm thinking Google is your best friend on this one...

Thanks for your reply Tater
It windows WM5 or 6.5 (if i upgraded the rom)
I program using a mixture of c and Win32 API ( i know they are one and the same thing in a way)
I know under windows you first have to have a default printer etc
but PDAs (psion being the exeption) dont generally have this facility built in
I would like to do something myself as there are not many third party progs about.
BTW Google is my best friend but i was looking for some more "Expert" input :) :) :)

:) :) :) :) :)
Whilst i am none the wiser as to why the bug occurred your code whacked it full on.
Now works perfectly.
Obviously a lot to be said for a better understanding of formatting text.
I Can only assume my wscpy ing of the various strings had some bearing on it
Once again big thanks have been struggling on that one for a couple of nights now :)
