A small program to compute the locator. Useful for making the log file when listenning radio.
I had to look it up... ::)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maidenhead_Locator_System (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maidenhead_Locator_System)
I have began with this link.
There are not many sites that give the three forms, generally they only display the six characters form.
I wrote the program with the help of this link
http://www.w8bh.net/grid_squares.pdf (http://www.w8bh.net/grid_squares.pdf)
Sometimes we have not the decimal latitude and the decimal longitude.
I wrote a small utility to get them, it is joint to this message.
If it is South latitude, the resulting valu_e is negative.
If it is West longitude, the resulting value is negative.
Now you now where I live...
You can get the sexagesimal latitude and longitude with this program
Thanks Sir HellofMice,
Going to make me learn something new ... ;)

Compile the programs with the last version of Pelle's RC11 V2
https://rigreference.com/software/categories/grid-bearing-maps (https://rigreference.com/software/categories/grid-bearing-maps)
The file joint is the invers of the Locator program.
There are some differences with Locator that I can't explain.
I compared my results withs other web site very often mines are better.
Compile with no optimization and no extra optimization (for all programs).
If you want to listen to short waves radios go to http://websdr.org/
