It would be nice that upon completion of a project and the project being closed, the messages for that compilation / testing, etc. are cleared from the message panel at the bottom of the screen.

I havn't even thought about that, but it sounds like a good idea. I will add it...

I just noticed the messages also do not clear when you load a new project. So when you are starting something new, the messages from the last compile and link are still left down there... THX.

Also, when I close a project, it doesn't really close. The files are kept on the right side of the window.

It would be nice to have 2 menu items at the file menu: "Close all files" and "Close project". At a "Close project" click it would close the project, clean the old messages and do all stuff to have a nice new environment to start a new project.
