Is there any way to indent or unindent a bunch of lines all at once? Also, can I se,ect a block of text for copying and pasting? If so, I can't seem to figure it out.

If you mean to add a tab in front of a bunch of lines together just select the lines then press <TAB>.
To remove an indenting (tabs) in front of a bunch of lines again select the lines and press <SHIFT>+<TAB>
