Hi Pelle,
I don't know whether this is a bug, but when I'm working with the Dialog editor, I never can see the Toolbox. :( No matter whether I'm opening a sample program or starting a new project.
The Properties window is always there.
I have installed PellesC for the first time (V. 2.90.5), my OS is Win2000.
What have I to do to see the Toolbox with standard controls?
Thanks. :)
Guido
Hello Guido,
Hm... you shouldn't have to do anything special - as soon as you open a dialog, it should be there (in top, left corner for a new installation, I think). I always try to verify that the coordinates are within the current screen. Never heard about this problem before...
You can also check the the following Registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Pelle Orinius\PellesC\Dialog Editor
value: ToolbarWindow "left, top, right, bottom, maximized?"
Pelle
Pelle,
many thanks for your prompt answer and for your tip with the registry entries.
Originally the registry values for the Toolbox window were "0 0 60 360 0".
Since I see the Property window I also have taken these values for the Toolbox window ("641 131 926 698 0"). Now I see both. :D
If this has happened only to me, then the reason must be my system configuration.
I am impressed, your IDE is made very good. I still have to explore your development system. I've heard from your system via LCC system and a look to the BCX converter.
I wish you much success with the further development of your system.
