Title: Coding on the ppc?
Post by: post from old forum on September 13, 2004, 10:08:09 PM
Hey, I have been doing some Pelles C tutorials and having a great time, I can't wait to make my own application.
Just wondering, is it possible to code on the pocket pc? Or is there a compiler for the pocket pc so I could write and test games when travelling?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,
Sorry, no. You can only develop on a desktop machine, and then transfer the program to the Pocket PC. Too much work, and too few requests, to port the compiler/linker to Pocket PC at this time.

Ah, no worries.
I can always save scripts as a txt file on the pocket pc and transfer and compile on my desktop computer.
