Title: PellesC 4.0 Workspace zip bug
Post by: RJP Computing on August 05, 2005, 06:30:05 PM
It looks like if you zip up your workspace it is cutting the first letter of the folders it creates in the zip file.

Example:
'My Cool Project' would become 'y Cool Project' inside the zip file.

I can't recreate the problem here right now - but it might depend on the name, and order, of the contained projects.

Can you post just the PPW file? - I think this will be enough...

I will dig some more...

OK - I think have found it. When comparing path names, to build the "best relative path", I sometimes scanned too far (when several directories start with the same char(s)). This bug seems to have been around for a while - no changes in this part of the code for 4.0.

A fix will be in the next beta version (I will wait a little, first).

Sounds good. Thanks. The folder names started with the same letter. Do you still need the .ppw file?

No, thanks. Sounds like we are talking about the same bug. It should be fixed (you can check in the next beta)...
