Title: Why can't I log in to my user?

My account is "alderman".  When I try to log in, I get the message that the account does not exist.  But there is, I can see my previous posts.
 Why does that happen?

Your "alderman" account does not exist, only "alderman2" exists (was created today).

Your previous posts under the now missing "alderman" account have been moved to the "guest" account.

I don't know why.

* Perhaps you accidentally deleted your old account.
* Perhaps a moderator accidentally deleted your old account.
* Perhaps the spam/troll killer plugin has a bug in it.
* Perhaps the forum software has a bug in it.

That's all I know at this time.
