Title: .CHM Valium deficiency!!!
Post by: Terry on June 12, 2006, 12:38:13 PM
I tried on the beginners forum, now I'll try you all!!!

Due to certain restrictions, I'm running Win95 OSR2.  I have tried both versions of PellesC and STILL cannot access the help0009.chm.  I've EVEN tried to use TOOLS->CUSTOMIZE->ADDINS->HELP and add the file that way, to no success.

I programmed in 7 languages for 25 years and I'll be darned if I'm going to let an help file beat me!  I must admit, I've had repeated problems with .chm files at different time.

Gratefully,
Terry

Do you have HH.EXE on your system? It's usually in the \Windows\System32 folder.

Some good HTML Help information is here (http://helpware.net/htmlhelp/hh_info.htm) and here (http://helpware.net/FAR/far_faq.htm)

Maybe download and install the latest HTML Help from here (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/htmlhelp/html/hwMicrosoftHTMLHelpDownloads.asp)
