Title: Deletion of inactive members
Post by: Christian on February 16, 2012, 04:33:14 PM
Hello,

due to a lot of bots and inactive members, we will delete all inactive accounts. So, if you use this forum without being logged in, please login within the next two weeks.

We delete everyone who wasn't here for more than one year.

The deletion will at the 3rd of March 2012, 12PM UTC. Please login until this date, to prevent the deletion of your account.

A little site maintenance is a good thing... although I might suggest 6 months insead of a year...

Yes, it was my first opinion. But there are some actual non active members, I hope they'll come back.

It's been quite a while with no bug fixes or updates... hopefully something is due out soon...

So, I cleaned up the board members. A bit later than planned today, but it is done. I deleted more then half of the members. I will repeat this task now every few month.

Old thread ... I know.

Just a suggestion ... It might be a good idea to run a couple of IP comparison algorythms to weed out duplicate accounts.
