Can't debug
« on: January 11, 2007, 08:55:53 PM »
Hi, everyone.

I'm working on a PocketPC app. I want to do remote debugging (I have latest PellesC 4.50, that supports it), but menu options for executing and debugging never enable.

I've have Active Sync 4.1.0 correctly installed (it synchronizes well) and have tried both my Pocket PC 2003SE and Mobile 5 emulator devices. I've checked project options, and it seems full debugger information is generated (for COFF and CodeView), both in compiler and linker tabs.

I've checked tutorial at Trajectory Labs and PellesC help files, but I'm not able to find the problem.

Help, please?

Greetings.

Found it!

It's easy: close the IDE and open it again...  #-o

Seems that ActiveSync is checked at the beginning of the IDE, and never once again, so if you don't attach the device to the cradle before running PellesC, the IDE thinks there's no connection (and that's right) and that it will never be (that's not).
