As I explained, it is a bug, but it seems Pelles fix it in new release : http://forum.pellesc.de/index.php?topic=2909.0
Quote- Fixed problem in strtof(), strtod(), strtold(), wcstof(), wcstod(), wcstold(), when the object pointed to by 'endptr' was assigned a pointer past a partial/invalid NAN/INF(inity) substring.
