Do you plan some "universal-generic" support for CVS? I don't think specific, because the freedom of choise is the life.
From my personal experience: I use Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.22 (client) without any connectivity outside. I call console cvs.exe via Tools/Cutomized menus (cvs status, commit, update -C, diff). My configuration is very simple (or primitive): to save source C,H,RC for the experimental purposes. For instance I know, that in the version 1.8 I played with the colours, int ver 1.9. I test buttons w/o colours.. and so on. It is not professional development, only playing with the puzzle of code pieces.
