IDE fonts settings
« on: November 10, 2012, 06:16:02 PM »
Hello :)

In IDE settings you can select the font (for code you edit, for example)
you like, but in some cases you do not see some of them in dropdown
combobox (if I call it right), even though the font is installed in Windows.

Thank you
 ;)

Not all fonts can be used for the code editor, some are even really bad.

Sorry, what do you mean "really bad"? How about Monaco?
Perfect monospace font.

I don't have Monaco installed and the image is locked for me.

I think there was a discussion about the font selection, so you should get an answer by searching the forum.

I generally just use either Fixedsys or Terminal... Both work just fine.

There are a number of fonts that really mess up in POIDE.... I'd say your best bet is to get it working and leave it alone.

Pelle has included a nice utility to check which condition is filtering out the font, see his post in the thread Version 6.50, Release Candidate #1 available
