With the last version V8RC8 the IDE doesn't allow the inclusion of files that are in an upper level directory in the current project.
The IDE also complain on loading of projects created with previous version where files having such position are present in the project, but fortunately don't prevent project compilation.
Such files are reported as 'external files' as usual, but cannot be removed, excluded, etc...
This behaviour is very very limiting any decent project layout for complex/dual (x86 and X64) projects without duplicating the source code
. The last is unacceptable for non hobbistic use and for the maintenance of projects.
Pelle please take an action, this would really diminuish the effectiveness of PellesC IDE that is the most valuable or, better, the most appreciated part of your compiler!.
