Removing attachments from prior post

Is there a way to remove attachments from a posting I previously made?
I tried "modify" - it allows the text to be changed but I don't see the attachment or 'clear attachment'.

It would be nice to delete old attachments when they have been superseded with a newer upload.

That would be nice.  When I do 'modify' there is no attachment(s) box to uncheck....just text.
The add attachment works but does not show the prior attachments either.

Perhaps a browser issue?  I'll try FireFox
