These are simple cosmetic requests for the editor/IDE - nothing really pressing or necessary.
I just thought it would be really nice if we could customize the text color and the background colors for the line numbers in the same manner as with some of the editor code syntax colors. Additionally nice, would be the ability to assign distinct syntax colors to variable names, constant names, parameters, and user created function names, just as the other elements of code can be given distinct colors. And last, but not least... is there any possibility in a future release for the user to manually enter RGB color values for syntax and property colors throughout the Pelles C, in addition to the predefined colors? I'm thinking an additional option among the current predefined colors entitled "Custom" that when clicked, will bring up a small dialog for the user to enter a value from 0 to 255 for each of the 3 (RGB) colors. Again, these are purely cosmetic changes and not really necessary.
