It's just so sad, that you can't trust chinese phone.
Mine OnePlus lost all photos, so i bought a Deep Scan application to recover some of those.
A small part of photos was recovered, but don't ever trust OnePlus phone, do backups continuously.
Good phone with good camera, but not as reliable as Samsung.

I have always used only SAMSUNG after NOKIA stopped the business. Obviously not because I was considering any malware issue anyway, but it has been a good choice seems...  :(
The real problem is that more complex are the devices more easy is to hide something malicious running inside.  >:(

Yeah. I guess by paying for a known brand, it's not just about the brand name itself but also a hope of better quality control...

My normal phone is Samsung, i have used Samsungs since 2013.

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini was a very good small phone.

I'm glad I've seen this.  OnePlus has been on my radar for the 'next' phone, guess not now..
Nokia was my first possibly best too, Blackberry Touch version 1 was excellent....now Samsung
as primary and Xiaomei Note 10 Pro (international version) to use when traveling.  Dislike the
trend to monster sized phones too.

Crap apps are a bane too though.  Lost 32Gig of what I at least thought was worth saving on a 64 Gig Flash
Drive when the iKlips software went buggy and wiped it out....no recovery software could get more than
the list of filenames....sad - backup to backups !
