Pelles for ARM Development

Hi Pelles,

I know you can use Pelles C for Pocket PC but could you use it for development of ARM projects that do not use the Windows OS?

Could it be used in the same way as the WinARM development system?

Great Compiler tools - keep up the good work  :D

Regards, Mike.

The calling convention used by WinCE/Microsoft isn't 100% compatible with "standard" ARM, and I *think* a couple of registers are used somewhat differently. This might not affect all code, but I suspect it might be enough to cause some problems... (but hard to say without actually trying, which I havn't...)

I'm not really familiar with this, so you only get the generic answer... ;-)
