My question is a bit general. I would basically like to learn about developing applications to test  drivers written for storage HBAs. Can anyone provide me with pointers to good sites which may provide me with open source application codes(in C, C++ or Java) to start off with?

Thanks for the link. I guess this is for only Fibre channel HBAs. Is there anything available for generic SCSI/SATA/SAS devices or HBAs?
