Something to keep an eye on. Side effects could be detrimental to free as well as 'open source' software in addition to
the 'for sale' software market. Possibly even eliminating the 'no warranty of any kind clause' too.

The idea of purveyors of software for $ or €, or software containing products doing due diligence is desirable, as is reducing
waste by increasing longevity but over-regulation will be costly for the consumer.
Hopefully cut-outs will be provided for FOSS, and like software.
