No there isn't cold, just about -5 °C.

Classic music makes me relaxed and ideas flows.

I generally don't care about which kind of music, but on the quality of it  :)
What's important to me is the flow of notes, sometime even classic music can be disturbing  ;)

Techno suites best since it is more or less electronic music, so it really goes well with bits and bytes.

BTW, I hate Schlager and volkstümliche Musik, any kind of other music is welcome, if I like it.

In any case the kind of music you hear is always related to the task at hand and the mood you are in ;)

So listen and relax 8)

Classical pop rock. Just listening to Tubular Bells, but Dark Side or Koeln Concert would be fine, too. It should be non-distracting.

Naming Deep Purple (or their albums) in the same sentence as "pop" is a sacrilege...  >:(

Well,  :-[
"Doppelte Freud'sche Fehlleistung"...  :'(

I clearly read "Tubular Bells" (and I like Mike Oldfield, used to have this played during ice hockey warm up during my more active days as a goalie), but then somehow made the first brain fart thinking of "Division Bells", which I coincidentally had been listening to a hour or so before. And then the second brain fart and "mixing the colors", writing Deep Purple instead of Pink Floyd. I blame the lack of caffeine at that time of day...  :P

Beside that, still wouldn't call anything from Mike Oldfield "Pop" either....

Back in 2000 I stumbled upon an interesting web station, Softwave.ru that played an eclectic mix of world, lounge type music interspersed with the kind of music from Russian kino films, some Polish too I think.  Then one day the station went dead :'( bummer!
Later I found SomaFM and rediscovered some of that playlist on the Secret Agent channel and some more of it on Illionois St. Lounge.  The Lounge at DI.fm is good and played a lot of the stuff I heard on the old Russian station.  In the end I collected my own playlist from these sources and added some Aida Vedeshiva songs that I like and Viola.  Hours of listening pleasure.  8)
