Installer Error Creating uninst.exe
« on: November 08, 2021, 05:09:29 PM »
Greets all,

When I test a 32-bit Installer app, I click Install> and the progress bar remains blank, but then it says Setup Completed Successfully.

However when I click Show Details, I get:  Error creating uninst.exe

(I even tried adding uninst.exe to the list of additional files to include, and tried again, but no change.)

Has anyone else experience something similar?

Thanks...

p.s.  I'm thrilled with the compiler!  I am excited there is an Installer, too.  :)

Hello welcome on PellesC board.  :)
The error is due to a bug in the installer when you define a single Section .. SectionEnd, create at least another section (i.e. a dummy one).
See my bug report.
Next time you can check if there are similar reports before posting, this can spare time to all  ;).
Anyway let us know if the report workaround solves also your problem.
