Project build/rebuild results to "output" window

Just reinstalled Pelles 8.00.60 win64 after converting from Win 7 to Win 10.  (Somehow the conversion ate most of my instaled programs...).  Anyway, now when I compile a project using Project->Build or Project->Rebuild, the compilation results show in the Project window at the bottom of my screen, but then Pelles switches to showing the Output window.  The Output window has messages about document navigation, project build starting, ending, etc. but these are really not interesting.  I'd like the Project window to remain showing so I can either correct any compile errors or move onto debugging.  Previously, Pelles did not display this Output window for my build/rebuilds.  Thanks.

Check Add-Ins as those use Output-window.

Yes!!! Somehow the add-in "Show IDE Events" was selected and was the causing Pelles C to switch to the output window.
