mmc.exe
« on: December 30, 2024, 04:29:27 AM »
Hello the world

I found something strange while anayzing the mmc.exe stored into the windows\system folder (Windows 11)

This file was created in 2031

 :o  and for MRT.exce it is $CDA0BB2E (Thu Apr 27 23:15:58 2079)

Very strange. If someone has an idea I should like.

I was using a program that I am writing, I thought there was a bug, so I used Pelle Pope.exe and it gives the same result!

Hi Philippe,

Interesting - I wonder if it is a preemptive fix for a transitional problem similar to Y2K?

Maybe check the general and the details of the files to see if it shows the same.

Attached are details from my Win 11 23H2

A field was missing. It had the value 40h and many docs don't speak about it. Now all is ok.
