Plotting a graph of X versus time data ....
« on: March 25, 2008, 11:45:04 PM »
Hi C Wizards,

I hope some of you can tell me how I can create a program in C (Windows XP) to plot data in a graphical interface.     I am naive in graph techniques and I am looking for a way to plot data versus time.   It would be nice if I can change scales and read values from the data plotted.

I presume I should create a new project and define it to be "Win32 application wizard", and then select "A dialog based program", so I can create my own interface ...., but from there on, I am kind of lost.   I hope a well verse guru would not mind in taking my hand and step y step show me way our of this maze.

I'd like to be able to save the data from my graph as well as reload previous data in an easy way, but I am not quite clear what controls to use.   Furthermore, what control should I choose to create a plot?

I am looking forward to hearing from the experts....  Thanks in advanced.

Delper ...
